Philipp Eng is aiming for another race victory at Donington Park next weekend after reaching the top step of the podium at Brands Hatch last time out. The 19-year-old Austrian is now up to third in the Drivers' Championship and hoping to reduce the points gap to leaders Andy Soucek and Robert Wickens.

Lying 19 points behind the championship leader, Eng is confident that his lack of Donington Park knowledge will not hamper his chances of crossing the finish line first. "I have showed everyone, and particularly myself, that I can get pole and win and that's been very good for my confidence," he said. "I wasn't expecting to do so well after free practice, especially as I had never been to Brands Hatch before, so it was a great feeling to cross the line in first."
Donington Park's two rounds next weekend will be the final couple in Great Britain before moving to mainland Europe for the climax of the championship in Germany, Italy and Spain. "I found some time both in myself and the car at Brands Hatch but there is still a lot I can do to improve," Philipp admitted. "I'm not underestimating anybody and I'm sure guys like Soucek, Wickens and Bortolotti are going to be very quick again - but I don't fear anybody."
