Penalty drops Soucek to fourth

Andy Soucek has received a time penalty for being judged to have held up Julien Jousse in Race 1 at Spa. As a consequence, the Spaniard, who had finished Saturday's race as runner-up to Tobias Hegewald, is demoted two places and loses valuable points in the process.

Having overshot the Les Combes chicane on the third lap of the race whilst challenging Hegewald for the lead, Soucek's rejoining in front of Julien Jousse forced the Frenchman to lift off, losing a position to Miloš Pavlovic in the process.

As Soucek loses his podium finish for the manner in which he cut back onto the track from the grass, Pavlovic and Jousse inherit second and third places respectively.
